I LOVE food & so what I eat in a day is everything I enjoy!
When I wake up, the first thing I have (I try do this every day or at least 90% of the time), is 750ml water with 3 tbsp FRESH Lemon juice squeezed in (not the lemon juice that comes in bottles). If I don’t have lemons, I add a tbsp of apple cider vinegar instead.
- It’s like given your insides a warm shower.
- It hydrates you, flushes out your stomach, kidneys & digestion & helps balance out your body’s PH.
I practice natural fasting, which basically means I only eat when I am hungry.
There is no time restriction or limits, it just forces me to LISTEN to when my body is actually hungry or not.
Most mornings, my first meal is between 10h30 & 11h30.
I make a smoothie which normally consists of:
- 1 (large) frozen banana
- ½ cup plant milk (I use GMO free soy milk)
- 3 dates
- And then I alternate between berries & chocolate smoothie.
- SO for the Chocolate I add:
- 2 tbsp Hemp Hearts (contains more protein per 100g than beef)
- 1 tbsp Cacao Powder (one of the highest sources of antioxidants)
- ¾ cup ice
Blend it all together.
I like texture when I eat, so I top it off with Cacao Nibs & Goji Berries. They are both powerful anti-oxidant & anti-inflammatory, high in fiber & mineral rich.
Alternatively, I like sprinkling my home made granola on top, SO GOOD!

That keeps me going until about 14h30/15h00ish when I either have some fresh fruit, make a veggie juice or I make a quick shake.

Then at about 18h00 I make dinner.
